He’s featured in every Bournemouth game so far this season. Would he be available? I’d love him mind. Always rated him, especially at championship level.

Yeah to most it’s high risk, to someone like Southampton with the parachute payments not so much.
Just hope we get a decent fee but I doubt it.[/QUOTE]
Why the doubt? Surely it anyone in our league can afford to take risk on a player it's Southampton so I would expect the club to negotiate a fair price and that's all we can hope for. Given their record to date I don't see the current management being anything but prudent in negotiations.
Surely though we stick for a high fee or they don’t want himPerfect storm

I’d agree but surely questions have to be asked - why won’t he sign?If he doesn’t want to sign, then get rid. Club is bigger than one player.
He's 27 had a couple of injuries. maybe he looks on this as his only chance to get a lucrative move.I’d agree but surely questions have to be asked - why won’t he sign?
Because we won't be held to ransom ...... we cannot compete with parachute paymentsI’d agree but surely questions have to be asked - why won’t he sign?
That’s true. Another reason why I don’t expect us to be anywhere near promotion this season. We are miles away. It’s just the way it is.Because we won't be held to ransom ...... we cannot compete with parachute payments
Agree. This forum is the best place for Sunderland coverage.and radio station.

If other players weren’t signing new deals I’d be concerned but they are so i’m not sure its the clubs faultI’d agree but surely questions have to be asked - why won’t he sign?
Yeah think he’s already discovering English football is different to what he’s used to, but I’ve seen a few minutes in various games that says he looks a competent enough player. Let’s hope I’m right and we’ll see that in years to come.I see Triantis got sent off for the U21s last night
If Stewart leaves that’s unlikely at this point, if he stays it’s possibleIn an ideal world, at the end of each transfer window the squad should be stronger than it was at the beginning. I guess by Friday we will find out. I live in hopes.
