When/if it clicks with him and he learns when to release the ball or shoot his potential is massive, as much as I do like him I have to admit he’s very frustrating at the minute but he needs regular game time to develop his end product

He will make a bigger impact than Ba imo. The issue with Ba is i dont think anyone knows his best position. I scouted Ba a few times before we signed him and he played, CDM, CM, RWB, LM and AM - i only watched him 3 times!!

The best game i saw him play was for france u19s and he played RWB, he was class - destroyed the LB all game long and worked hard defensively

I think Ba is suited to two roles he's currently a long way from being experienced enough for ...

... the 'Evans' and 'Dack' positions.

He's not mature enough and they're positions that need to be learned.

He's an impact sub at the moment imo.

To be honest I am totally relaxed about the situation at the minute. Yes if we had brought a "striker" in in January we may have got promoted. For what its worth I believe we would have came straight back down.
I fully expect one in next week as well as a Prem loanee.
Way way too early in the season to be sh*tting ourselves.
For where we were to where we are now just carry on KLD/Speakman as far as I am concerned.
Frustrating not getting the wins at times but by God its fkn good football to watch. Best since Reidy era in my opinion.

Could be a shout, similar to Mumba we pissed about playing him in midfield when he was used as a full back/wing back in the England youth set up if I remember right and he’s not doing too bad now!

I love this question. Shows the sort of puzzles the likes of Speakman, Harvey and Mowbray will be balancing and pondering this week. They have an inside track of course on Stewarts ability to be back to where he was. I also wonder whether Clarke can reproduce his stats again this season so is now a good time to sell?

My answer would be yes, we should do it. As I always say it must be cash up front, and they have it to give. Also a sell on for Clarke. I would definitely sign Rusyn, no questions. I would sooner sign Abline than Cannon personally. Never heard of the french winger but why not, if he is a left sided lad anyway. Can we get another CM in as well though. We will be goosed if Ekwah or Neil get injured although Huggins is slowly building some confidence. Wouldnt mind a right back in either if possible. Being greedy now though. Does show what £20m will enable though I think, might have a few quid for Amads wage as well <cheers>

If Ba continues playing off the bench he’ll continue to underperform. Just like Diallo at Rangers, Clarke at Stoke, Roberts at every club he’s been at since Celtic. If we’re going to leave him out every week we might as well send him on loan so he can get a run of games.

Brentford and Brighton get compared to our project every time bringing in some experience is mentioned and others cling onto if they’re young enough they’re good enough etc… our line up this weekend was younger than everyone on the list.
