With all of the whingeing because we lost yesterday (one fecking game <doh>), why don't we all just support 'United, 'City, Arsenal or Liverpool . . . . that'll surely be much easier :emoticon-0100-smile

Maybe one of us should let the hierarchy at the club know how easy it is to sign whoever we might need, 'cos it's obviously fecking easy to identify and sign the right players and they don't even realise . . . . the useless twats :emoticon-0112-wonde
I don't think anyone is suggesting it's easy, but they club have known we need strikers since last summer. Surely that is enough time to sort out a signing or two? Other clubs seem to manage it.....

Amad with the triangles we created down the right were a miss.

If you loan a player for a season who you can't afford to buy, can't afford to pay and allow your creativity to build around him,if you don't replace like for like when he returns to his parent club, there is going to be a bit of a gap! I've banged on for ages on here about the loan system...it's crap.

Now that is something I’m looking forward to. Him on form and yesterday was a different game. Still think he needs competition and a suitable option after a knock or tiredness. Hemir needs easing in.
Out of interest what makes you say he’s definitely not leaving? Am I right in saying you have a connection to him? I think it’s the right choice for the club to make. We won’t get much worth having for him in his current state and him leaving isn’t the right time. Better we have his performances.
All I know is he was so close to signing before his injury, I can't say exactly how I know, that bits too risky, I'm going to message someone on here later that I trust to explain how I know, would live to put it on here but I really can't

Yeah the chances of finding another Amad are slim, hopefully we get a fully fit dack and can adjust your style I think he has potential to hit double figures in this team (again If fit)

Mate that’s fair enough of course. Not asking for finer detail, sorry if it sounded that way, was just asking if it was a general ‘he’s injured no one wants him’ or if it was based on insight

I’m usually optimistic and hopefully you’re right about Dack but I think it’s a big outside gamble that he’s going to contribute much after the last couple of seasons. A gamble worth taking because at his best in this side he’s worth 10/15 goals.

Ah yeah I wouldn’t be pinning my hopes on him but he could come good, pritch was ‘injury prone’ when he came and we’ve got a good amount of game time from him, I’m more hopeful than optimistic on dack, good thing here is we have the bodies to rotate him Atleast

And Dack can do that…
Can he? I haven’t seen much to suggest that, more a late burst into box number 10. Could be very effective but not even remotely similar to Diallo or able to play those incredibly intricate triangles.

His passing is/was very good, see’s things others don’t

He finds space around the edge of the box. He’s a good passer. He’s not just about late runs. He’s a great passer as his assist stats support.

Roberts had no ball inside all day yesterday Dack will be there.

That’s certainly true, hopefully he’ll be one of those essential cogs that make things work without having the more obvious talents of someone like Amad.

But we have signed 2 striker’s haven’t we, one is not up to leading the line alone and the other is injured.

If we'd gone to the PL we could've easily bought him or someone like him and he may well have come ...

... it was worth the risk in my opinion.

Pellistri would have been a cracking loan signing for us as that Amad replacement but looks like hes off to Twente instead now

Big fan of his.

Still think we will bring in 1 quality loan signing

My scouting today was a failure, so frustrating when you spend 2/3 watching highlights and all the players are poor!!!
