Because he's a good player, and a 1 of the most experienced players in our side

Who isn't a centre back and got absolutely whooped for both goals today with letting strikes the wrong side of him.

Sorry like but the proof is in the pudding and today shown clearly that dropping our most experience and player of the season in Danny was a mistake.

Simple to understand

The first goal wasn't his fault, it was a fluke goal. The 2nd was his fault, but he also bailed us out a couple of times when caught on the break. We have lost a game and as per usual someone is always made out to be the fall guy

It was. He let broadhead drift past him while being on his heels.

09 was poor all game. Don't know a single person who believes he wasn't. As usual , you only seem to quote my posts.

I quote on many people's posts, very strange comment. Sorry but that first goal is a fluke, broadhead is just running into the box and the cross shot hits him in the knee, nothing to do with defending, it was a fluke goal. Like I say the 2nd was his fault as he was caught in 2 minds and it cost us.

Vast exaggeration here like, what about Ekwah bottling an aireal challenge and then Neil heading it straight to Davis for the first?
Second goal granted but it was still a quality pass and finish. After Batths performance at Hartlepool the other night I have no confidence he makes a difference on either goal there.

Surely you're not writing off the player of the season due to that Hartlepool game? Where we have 8 or so players who were playing out of position.

Totally agree o9 was poor today, I find that o9 and Gooch are very similar players in that respect. Yes they do give their all and wear their hearts on their sleeves but generally once they stop doing the easy pass etc they become confused with what they can do next. In the 1st half o9 brought the ball out of defence only to lose it and then he was out of postition. Gooch is the same, when he goes down the line his head goes down and genrally there is only one outcome, if we're lucky we'll get a cross or it may go out for a throw.

Blaming O’Nein for the first goal is bloody harsh mind, massive deflection otherwise Patterson would have had it covered.

He also cleared one off the line which would have been a certain goal. I get that he has his pros and cons but thought he was ok today. Baath wouldn’t have made a difference for either of the goals.

After a defeat people will be pointing fingers at players. Had we been better up front we would have won today.

We should be questioning why it took so long to show some fight, and that’s the team as a whole not individuals.

The goal was harsh, yes. But his man-marking was not good. He was about 2-3 feet away from his man.

I didnt think o9 was that good today but i do agree that i dont think batth would have done any better

I love batth but hes better against big physical strikers, broadhead n chaplin would have enjoyed running at batth
