Stoke are apparently in for Wouter Burger from FC Basle for less the £1m. I’d love to see us in for him. I’m guessing his wages would be outside our structure.

I agree with the experience part.

That being said if he's only seen as a part time starter this season in the coaching staffs eyes then i think it's good that the club is prepared to let him leave and has the confidence in the players we have signed and the rest of the squad.

If for example we only wanted a 1 year deal and he wanted 2 or 3 then the club is doing the right thing by both parties i think.

I think that’s a myth like. I’m sure we only won 4 games they played together and went on our worst run with them both in the side.

That being said, we’ll not get anything for Batth, so we should really just keep him until the Summer.

I don’t mind if Pritchard and Gooch leave, particularly if we bring in these two new forwards.

I don’t think Batth and Ballard played any minutes together in pre season so I can’t say this is surprising to me. Just have to trust that Seelt and Triantis are good

Definitely knows what he's doing. Morning of the 1st game of the season. It wouldn't surprise me if he's been trying to pimp him out to Burnley all summer

Harte throwing a strop because he’s failed at his job. Clearly thinks he didn’t go a good enough job a year ago if he’s this desperate for a new deal for his client.

He also can’t say we don’t offer good wages considering he was happy for his client to sign here last year and we renegotiated for Ballard. Absolute scum

he knows what he's doing, he's knows some fans will cling on to it and bash the club because of it, i seen a comment before and it was only one, saying this club will never learn from its mistakes, i think some fans forget what point we were at and how much we've improved year on year since the take over,
