Strikes me as one of those footballers who were highly rated and didn’t really make an impact early into his career, so Leicester have took a chance on him - sort of like us with Roberts. Is Winks actually any good?
Coady looks like when you buy Danny Batth on ebay

What type of midfielder is Winks? He’s only scored 2 league goals in his career, so I’m guessing he’s a defensive midfielder who doesn’t attack. Not quite a James Maddison type replacement. It’s rare you get called up for England if you’re ****e. Coady isn’t only a good centre back but he’s a massive personality and that will be huge for Leicester, alongside Evans who’s basically the same. What people need to remember is that we thought Bathh was incredible last season - in the championship. Evans has been doing it in the PL for the last decade, regardless of his age he’s still top drawer as is Coady.
Don't careArsenal putting a side together that can grow and stay together for a long time.

I agree it is crap mate. But it has always been like this. We have just stopped bothering to call it tapping up, and now just talk about it openly. If anything it has probably put a stop to some of the shady shennanigans that went on back in the glory days. The game is ruined by money now, in that it is obscene. We used to have money problems back in the day, but they were less transparent. Take your pick I suppose as to which is better.
Massively agree. Plenty of my mates reckon we’ll be right in the mix for automatic promotion. I just don’t see where their confidence comes from like. The pair of them will be competitive. The difference for me is that Leicester will spend to go straight back up. Southampton will build sensibly - so it all depends on who they lose.
We have to be aiming to be in the mix but top 6 again would be a huge achievement for us.
Amad liking Sunderland things again.

Nearly every 'big' transfer I've seen has been the same. Maddisons terms with Spuds were agreed before a deal was struck with Leicester, same with Havertz and Arsenal, Kavacic and City. All a bit back to front imo.

Nah definitely not a Maddison type player. Plays as a holding midfielder normally, would be an upgrade on Evans. Played most of his football at spurs under Poch, when they were the best they’ve been in the last decade. Had a lot of potential but picked up more than his share of injuries.
When you look at midfielders who dominated the championship last season you think Cullen or Hamer. If Winks stays fit he’ll be leagues ahead of them.
Class name, I'm in.
Still stepping aside![]()
He was the guy Moyes chose instead of M'Vila right.....I'm still in therapy after that one.......ffs.Didier N’Dong is available…
