I'm still 100% Ross Stewart like. The lad will come back firing as he did in December and score the goals to take us up. I hope a new deal is sorted, hes quality.

Don’t agreeHe is our best player, in the most important position. Injury prone or not. If he signs an extension he'll be the most celebrated signing we've had since Bent signed from Tottenham.
He's absolutely mint. We'd of probably been promoted last season if he hadn't got injured.
Don’t agree
If he can’t sign a contract
He can fox off
He would have been in last year of contract and able to negotiate a deal elsewhere from January where we wouldn’t even get the 6m. I’m fairly certain the only thing that clause means is we have to accept that fee, Cirkin can’t be forced to sign for Spurs, that’s surely unlawful and even more of a restriction than pre Bosman rules were. Of course Spurs could offer a very attractive option in terms of salary but if Cirkin wanted to be there he would be.Surely the only reason to offer a player with an active buy back clause a new deal and wage increase would be a charm offensive, which would imply he is able to veto that buy back clause! Otherwise, it makes no sense to pay him more money until the clause has elapsed.
I agree with you but I wouldn't be upset with Stewart either as its the way it goes now.. People were wanting to throw money at him but he never be the same again after these two long injuries.Don’t agree

Inclined to agree I love Ross and would love him to stay but no one is bigger than safcDon’t agree

If another team bid , say , 12m for him I assume we’d have to inform Spurs who could then choose whether to activate the clause which would give them the right to offer a contract to Cirkin and pay us the pre negotiated fee. Cirkin could still turn them down though is my understanding. If any other team tried to sign him though theyd be told only if spurs dont want him though, right? Totally agree otherwise. I'd be very surprised if you can agree contractual terms with someone years, maybe, before they actually start working for you. Doesn't make sense to me and open to all sorts of legal challenge.
Yep. Likes to be out of London too. Much more zen. Good human who has developed above his years.
I'm no transfer expert but my understanding is that the buy-back clause simply means that if Spurs want to re-sign him then they are able to immediately enter contract negotiations with him, and if they agreed a deal then the transfer would go through at £6m (or whatever the agreed buyback fee is).He would have been in last year of contract and able to negotiate a deal elsewhere from January where we wouldn’t even get the 6m. I don't think we would have to involve Spurs in any potential negotiations with other clubs. The buy-back clause isn't a right of first refusal, it just lets them skip transfer negotiations with us as we agreed that figure with them when we signed him.If any other team tried to sign him though theyd be told only if spurs dont want him though, right? That's an opinion based on a guess at this point. If he doesn't sign, I'll be upset too. Doesn't change the fact he is a brilliant player. We've lost a load of great players over the years. I didn't start thinking they weren't great players just because they left.
Roscoe was playing semi pro in Scotland at 18, has worked his bollocks off to get to where he's at. He's from a lovely family and is a good guy. He's suffered two horrendous injuries so cut him some slack if he's not doing cartwheels at end of season lap of honour. He's a quiet guy, let's trust the process. Let him get fit, be happy and he'll sign. I'm confidentTBF thinking he might decide to stay, and become properly fit again, is guesswork as well ...
... he might just be using our medical team and facilities while lining up a deal elsewhere.
Denis was in Majorca 3 weeks ago, he met a mate of mine he played golf together, and said he is staying here, it is the start of something big and he wants part of it.
There is something we don't know about, why would he and his agent refuse a good contract, knowing if does well there could still be a good move or an increase in wages.Wish Stewart would just sign a new contract. Something has to give this summer surely

Summit not right here.
Greed?
It’s madness to me that you even have to say that - he’s been brilliant for us and a resting bitch face when he’s probably gutted he can’t be playing more of a part or a lack of Instagram activity shouldn’t see fans turning.I'm still 100% Ross Stewart like. Do you reckon the club are still offering the same terms in light of latest injury?Personally think he has been badly advised. Agent seen the big licks and the PL calling when the goals were going in. They thought his injury was over after ruptured quad and expected PL clubs to roll in.
Ruptured Achilles to follow and that's crushed any PL big time move. For the near future anyway. Think it's time for a big dose of reality and to sign what he has been offered to date.
