Can't see Roberts leaving when we already need a winger. We'd need 2 wingers, 2 strikers, and a CDM before the window closes if he leaves.

Can't see it happening. January maybe if he hasn't signed a new deal, but I'd be very surprised right now.

If he left, we'd only have Clarke as a winger (Bennette not there yet, and Ba is absolutely not a winger).

We'd just be left way too short.

Ahahahahahaha, TM just cracked a belting joke.

'If Ross leaves, someone else will come in and fill the void, the fans will love him and make songs up about him. This has happened for years, i played against Kevin Phillips and Niall Quinn, but they moved on the club have since had the likes of Charlie Wyke and Will Grigg"

Mogga suggesting he wouldn't miss Stewart if he goes! Doesn't even seem to know Mayenda's name(!)

This is a bizarre PC

Think he is just tired of the same questions and repeating the same standard answers, the bloke has no control over transfers at all. We all know this.

He did seem a bit off but these last 2 days must be a nightmare for coaches as they might even lose some players that will be in the squad on Saturday. Actually feel for the bloke as its not ideal at all.

Transfer window should end before the season starts, simple as that but sky want the drama.

People will never forget Bob ...

... we still talk about Bob Murray and he was a Saint in comparison.

Yep. Murray was excellent and visionary. Guilty only of not being a billionaire.

Without him there would have been no SOL and no AOL, and no serious interest in ever buying us from decent people, which us what we have now.

Spot on mate!

Stewart to Southampton is a strange one, no doubt hes a quality striker but not sure there style of play truely suits him. They play slow possession based football, looking for their forward to link play n make little movements in the box to create space for themselves. Those things are his strengths, hes better when he has space to run in behind and in a team that gets crosses in. He is at hos best in a team that plays at a high tempo.

He will suit southamptons pressing out of possession, just surprised they are potentially going to pay good money for a striker that might not suit there style of play
