It’s a genuine question, I’m not knocking the lad at all I just can’t think of anyone the size of him who plays that role.. smaller players have a lower centre of gravity making it easier to dribble, turn on the spot, get through defenders in tight spaces which is perfect for a 10. Just like a smaller player would struggle to get up and down the pitch and themselves about as easily as a player of Jobes stature.
I think it's a sign of modern tactics. Now full backs are covering your midfield roles, your mids push on. His brother is a good example. Rodri as well although he starts further back. Havertz plays a similar role

People choosing to believe that bunting kid on twitter because he tweeted Clarke to Burnley for 15 mil, the kid is clearly full of it as per his track record, people just looking for a reason to go off it, I hate the transfer window

I did think of him but he wasn’t really a 10, City used to play a simple 4-4-2 back then with Yaya and Fernandinho together in the middle which was perfect for him to get up and down the pitch. Kind of how I see Jobe being best utilised

He was when he first came, it was Barry and De Jong sitting with Yaya behind Tevez. Jude is currently playing as a 10 in a 442 diamond

Jobe hasn't really played as a 10 when he hasnt been up top for us. More left side of a 3 with more license to get forward, with Dan right and Ekwah sitting.
