    I wouldn't say I can take it well, I've just found ways to handle it for my benefit and the mood of people around me. I was at Everton when Coventry cheated and a fine young team lost what had been a magnificent fight ...

    ... that experience will be with me for life tbh.

    Yep agree.. But it still hurts me, not so much the lad, to the core.. As you say, we were going up but such a kick in the teeth, for me anyway, was and is so hard to take.

    Started a hatred for Everton that endures, I'm desperate to see them go down and have a financial meltdown. We left Goodison to be met by some of their scumbag supporters mocking us ...

    ... 'typical cheeky Scouse humour' as they like to call it <doh>

    They were attacked, justifiably imo, but they still haven't suffered enough yet for my liking.

    We only ended up in the playoffs because after dominating at home to QPR we threw away a 2 nil lead. The consequences of that caused Man City to get relegated, QPR to stay up and us to ener the playoffs.
