Yeah Fellaini was a massive oaf who was the most dangerous player for the final 10 mins of a game, ****er always popped up with late equalisers or winners.

Be mad starting him for the first 80 though.

Fellaini was a bastard everyone wanted in their team…the snobbery of United fans gave him a bad rep…they brought a destroyer when they craved a Xavi…not his fault.

I remember him saving United many a time having come off the bench with 10 to go.

Desperate times indeed.

I just pray we're not in a position where ppl will be saying that about Fred in years to come.

he was doing what Pep does now, except he didn't have as many teams that could match his spending.

Eh? Nobody has matched Pep's spending at City?

Pretty sure United were outspent from Roman onwards too. That's not even getting into his Aberdeen success.

I'm with DH. Different breed.

Ramsdale was terrible at Bournemouth & they went down, moved to Sheff U & showed quickly that he wasn’t fit to lace Henderson’s boots, and went down with them.

So the gooners slap £24m plus extras on the table <laugh>

Might have had some legs if he hadn't been voted player of the season at each of those clubs in both those seasons.

Arsenal spending £30m on a guy they had last season who was "meh" and got them to the lofty position of 8th.
Ramsdale, Odegaard and that Um Bongo kid aint it guys.
They might get 7th under last seasons top 5 and Spurs, if Everton, Villa et all dont live up to the hype, but with purchases like this I cant see any vast improvement.

I dont remember his name, the Belgian kid you signed. His name sounds like Um Bongo

EDIT : Lokonga, just looked it up :)

EDIT EDIT: Can you still buy Um Bongo, the drink? I used to love that as a kid

lol how is that racist?
His name sounds like a popular 80's drink.

I wasn't being serious.

He actually looks pretty good tbf. Was captain at Anderlecht at 22, so he's got the minerals too. He's only played a couple of games for us so far, but from what I've seen so far, he reads the game well and he moves the ball forward and has got a great pass on him. I think he's a clever player and he'll make a decent addition to our squad. He's not a 'marquee signing', but we need grafters atm and he looks like he's got that too.

I know everybody wants to slate everything about Arsenal atm, but tbh Lokonga has only played a couple of games so far, so whilst people might want to talk **** about him, it's not going to be taken seriously.

I'm just having you on, and piling in on Arsenal because its fun at the mo. He will probably end up being a decent signing :)
You really need to get rid of Arteta though, I know he is only like 33% of the problem at Arsenal right now but still, with a decent manager, and no European football, you might be able to crack the top 6.
