That's massively playing with the actual truth. What Ferguson inherited was an absolute dog **** squad full of piss heads. The only players of any note were Robson and Hughes. The next three years were spent getting rid of ****e and trying to build a squad, we were signing the likes of Ralph Milne for ****s sake. And using 'Fergies fledglings' from the reserves, who were nothing near the quality of the player he ended up producing for the first team. Beardsmore, Robbins, Gill, Graham. Anyone remember them? Thought not. By comparison, Pep inherited de Bryune, Aguero, Kompany, Sterling, Yaya Toure, to name a few, who had recently been champions. Since then, he's pissed away money on massive multiple signings, many of whom fail, every season. Not denying United have spent, course we do, but to say they two are the same, or even on the same planet, is ridiculous.
United were the highest PL spenders during Fergie’s reign for just 3 of his seasons at the club. Outspent by Blackburn, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea and City. The seasons when United spent most was when we brought in Jaap Stam & Dwight Yorke, then Ruud Van Nistelrooy, then Rio Ferdinand. Players who all delivered the biggest trophies consistently. Don’t even talk about Pep.
****ing hell didn't know that Used to love that **** as a kid. Always wondered why it suddenly became less popular lol.
Thought that was Sunny Delight...was marketed as a healthy drink until the kids turned day glow orange
Yeah, its ****ed up. It also used to cause club fingers as well, which look gross. Not sure WTF they put in that ****!
He looks like another overpriced 'neat and tidy' player they can add to their roster. They never learn. Has a club ever failed in the market as consistently as Arsenal over the last 15-20 years? I think Ben White is a good signing but it's not the type of defender they need.
These signings are ****ing Wikkedy Wack! I'd be going spare if I was an Arsenal fan. £129m and they will still finish below the top 6 in all likelihood. Maybe no Europe will help, but I still cannot see them finishing past last seasons top 5 and probably one other of Spurs, Everton or Villa.
Are you just saying that on the off chance, or do you actually believe these signings will take you back up the league?
