Is Grant Holt not a part of the "we" then? Is it NCFC + Grant Holt.
The gripe is he was blaming missed chances when the real issue was chances created, he was deflecting blame to others when it lay with him.
That's not a characteristic I appreciate.
"He was deflecting blame to others when it lay with him". So, since you can't do what I asked and point us to a single example of Chris Hughton "blaming" Grant Holt for our lack of goals, you now retreat into giving us your interpretation of various of Chris Hughton's after match comments etc. Please give us some explicit examples of this "deflecting blame". It is likely that nearly all the rest of us heard or read a lot of these comments too, but I for one seem to have a different understanding of them.
For what a general comment is worth, it seems to me that Chris Hughton is exceptionally honest in what he says and how he behaves; if anything you might criticise him for being too honest (as some have done over his remarks about the quality of player that some of our competitors in the PL can put on the field). Is that derogatory to our players? I don't think so, just giving credit to the opposition when it is due and a defence of our players who played their hearts out but lost a game.
