If jobe wants to go, we kind of have to let him sadly. Just hope we get a bumper price for him

I’m hoping we know either about Jobe in the next 7 days. We don’t want this uncertainty dragging over all summer. I guess we’re going to need to get used to it tho given the quality of our squad. Likes of Brighton etc have the same thing with their players, like Mitoma

If reports are true then Dortmund want him to play in the Club World Cup, that would mean a quick sale. I still believe he’ll sign there

If jobe wants to go, then let’s get it done in the next two weeks. Can’t have it dragging on, there’s enough work to do this summer without not knowing if a key player will be here or not.

I think it’ll be done quickly like previously mentioned they’ll want him for the club World Cup. Suits all parties if he wants to leave. Obvs alternatively he could just stay :emoticon-0105-wink:

‘Henderson will return to Sunderland’
Jordan Henderson has been strongly linked with a return to his boyhood club in the days since Sunderland won promotion back to the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Henderson is thought to be on his way out of Ajax and both Sunderland and Rangers have been linked with the England international.

Dutch businessman Chris Woerts, who was on the board of Sunderland during Henderson’s time with the club, revealed on Dutch channel Vandaag Inside that the 34-year-old will return to the Stadium of Light this summer.

Mexican international linked
Sunderland have been linked with a move for Mexican international goalkeeper, Luis Malagon, according to reports in his homeland.

Nacion Futbol claim both Sunderland and PSV Eindhoven have shown interest in the Club America stopper but that it’s Sunderland’s Premier League rivals Crystal Palace who are most strongly linked, with the report claiming the Eagles have been watching Malagon for months.

Mayenda clause triggered
Sunderland have to pay a bit extra to Sochaux for the transfer of Eliezer Mayenda following their successful promotion to the Premier League.

According to L’Est Republicain, an extra €500,000 is due thanks to the win at Wembley and the report goes on to claim that the French side have a 20% sell on clause in the Spanish youth international’s contract.

I don’t think it’ll be a case of Jobe wanting to go, he clearly loves it here but a chance of European football and a serious contract will be brilliant for him at such a young age. He’ll know it’s also a great deal for SAFC

Can’t expect us to be after that keeper mind

While I was excited about better and more exciting links... i forgot how much bullshit prem teams face with nothing rumours.

So for the people who have slagged the mags off for taking Saudi money and claimed that Newcastle are no longer our rivals, if you support Henderson coming back after going to play in that country and taking Saudi money then you’re a massive hypocrite.

This club and supporters lose the right to slag off Newcastle for the Saudi link, if Henderson is welcomed back to the club with open arms. I also personally reserve the right to boo him and tell him what a piece of **** he is every time he turns up at the stadium. I really detest the smarmy little prick. Some of us have family that really looked up to him before he **** on them from a great height.

Na mate he walked away and forfeited the salary, didn’t get a penny.

He did go though, we can’t hide from that, but it’s an individual not ****ing control of the club, half the land in the town, the narrative and the credit.

I shat myself when I seen ‘Mayenda release clause triggered’, delighted to read it’s us paying Sochaux 500k

Henderson returning then by the looks of it.

While his decision to go to Saudi wasn't a good one, it's incomparable to the mags being owned by the Saudi government.

The above report isn't credible. At all.

Doesn't mean he won't but I wouldn't take that half arsed nonsense as gospel.
