It is certainly an emotive subject, mate. I’m set on it and won’t be changing. I’ll always hate the rat and I’ll always be vocal about it.Na mate he walked away and forfeited the salary, didn’t get a penny.
He did go though, we can’t hide from that, but it’s an individual not ****ing control of the club, half the land in the town, the narrative and the credit.
I shat myself when I seen ‘Mayenda release clause triggered’, delighted to read it’s us paying Sochaux 500k
What’s going on like as I like that page!Well I'm back on here but we are still waiting for our Facebook page (Sunderland News and Banter page) to come back once Facebook gets back to us
Aye, it's as if they are building him up with positives to them hit us with the news he's gone, inevitable imo.all these Jobe's post,
Either the club are trying to say hes staying or post postitive stuff before it hits hes actually gone
It's a funny one. Definitely lots of Jobe posts from SAFC media. It looked like he was definitely going to leave but maybe not. You can imagine the hierarchy going on a charm offensive with Jobe and his family. With amazing transfer business and investment, could we have a stronger side next year than anybody is expecting? I'm getting a bit giddy and better go for a lie down!all these Jobe's post,

Henderson is a slam dunk for me, absolute net positive to have in and around the club

My daughter really looked up to him for the support and defence of the gay community which he was pretending to care about. To then see him **** off to Saudi for the money (regardless if he was paid or not, the intention was there, it’s what he went for) where they’d have put my daughter to death just for being who she is, was sickening and unforgivable in our eyes.
Mayenda is the best find we’ve made yet. I genuinely can see him playing for a major European club in no more than a handful of years. He’s got it all. We are watching a star being born. If he is here in a couple year, we’ll be demanding north of 50m for him. Not a doubt in my mind.
Now we're back in the big time we can expect a summer of rumour,counter-rumour and journo speculation on a daily basis! It's a funny one. Definitely lots of Jobe posts from SAFC media. Can’t argue with your view mate, and I was that way when it happened. I can respect a man moving form money but he already had enough for the next 3-5 generations of his family banked.
He did see the error of his decision but I appreciate the damage had been done.
Because he’s a sports person he’s put on a pedestal unfortunately and it’s magnified. As I stated on the Henderson thread, how do we know he WANTED to be an ambassador for the LGBT bollocks? If the PL came to him and asked him to do it he can hardly say no without being vilified and cancelled. Would people stop talking to their best mate if they chose to go and work in Saudi for a year to pay off their mortgage? It’s obviously different circumstances altogether financially when you’re already a millionaire but it’s all relevant, it’s a hell of a lot more money than he’d ever made and until one of us is put in a situation like that I think it’s easy to say our morals would stop us.
Makes me nearly vomit just reading that.To have a local lad with as much experience as Henderson would be invaluable to the young players.
Don't worry mate.Whilst we’re all looking forward to some exciting signings hopefully, part of me just wonders how realistic this is. Maybe the likes of Ipswich were forced into the route they went. How attractive is a newly promoted team that is likely fighting near the bottom? This is why Jobe is likely to leave so why do we think Sunderland will be attractive to others? Le Fee may just be an exception because of his relationship with RLB.
Someone tell me not to worry![]()
No problem with that, just you don’t have to agree with him, you’ve got your own brain which should tell you he’s a hypocritical c unt for siding with people who kill men womenBecause he’s a sports person he’s put on a pedestal unfortunately and it’s magnified. We’re an infinitely more lucrative project than Ipswich, Ipswich essentially went to the premier league with a league one squad too that overachieved and their recruitment has never been smartWhilst we’re all looking forward to some exciting signings hopefully, part of me just wonders how realistic this is. Oh aye mate I even said at the time if someone offered me 4-5 times my salary to go there I’d be off, course I would.
I think the first part though, whilst you’re right sometimes footballers are pushed into PR things, Jordan was a massive supporter of gay rights, he went above and beyond in that area.
It will always be a debate and folk will always look from so many angles. My sister is gay and as such the thought someone could be killed for their own free will and life choices is mind blowing to me.
