Watched SSN earlier, they said that Liverpool up to now have spent around £269m but with selling Nunez and others they have a net spend of only £92m! Absolutely crazy

And that is without selling Elliot, and maybe one or two others. And they had a profit last season. They could have done all their spending this summer, sold no one, and still have been under the PSR bar.

Need to season to start so we can all start having meltdowns about our actual football ability rather than these made up “issues”

6 days my brother.

Got a fresh Fred Perry and a free ‘just be home before 2am’ pass from the missus for Saturday. Out at 11 hopefully see the rats lose before our game.

Beautiful.

Hes is a very good player, under estimated by many even some of our own fans. He's excellent at bringing the ball out of defence and picking out a pass

There's a degree of 'don't confuse me with facts my mind is made up' where O'Nien's concerned imo.

I don't know if he'll step up just as I didn't in L1 or the Championship.

But the manager, in fact every manager, seems to trust him.

It's a conundrum that whereas people are happy to trust RLB's judgement on most things ...

... they don't trust his judgement on O'Nien, or other players they're not keen on.

It seems anyone who thinks O'Nien may play, know nothing about football which makes me wonder how they rate RLB's knowledge.

Don't think they've sold Elliott as yet so that won't be included

yeah, I chucked that one in as no idea who or what was included in their calculation - ie only confirmed sales or also prospect sales.

Anyway, point being they have massive headroom to buy more players.. with capacity to expand it if they sell Elliott and/or others on top.

Not convinced on that one, Juve are reportedly interested in bringing Tonali back to Italy and are looking to offload fringes players to make room. This feels to me like a "he's available" notification.

String chance Juve have offered him to us, rather than us go that way.

He is on daft money anyway and I doubt we’d pay it.

O'Nein and VAR terrify me though. I wonder if theyll allow us to tattoo the word 'VAR' on all of our opponents foreheads beforehand?

He's a 26 year and oldEnglish centre back who has made 60 Premier League appearances and played at Juventus. That kind of experience is not to be sniffed at.

I'm not sure exactly where he fits but with Masuaku coming in, it might be that we're looking to play 3 at the back with wing backs in certain games.
