If true its time to drop interest and move on... this just reminds me of when we would be played by agents and show how desperate we were just to get bodies through the door... Man up tell him he had his chance then bid elsewhere.
That "Steve man" guy - I've seen a few people say he gets stuff right. He does but its from reading the ITKs on here and SMB. He reads what they all put then puts it on twitter, and almost always immediately asks Alan Nixon if he's heard its true. The guy is just riding coat tails. If @Prehab26 came on now and said we were in for Adebayor, he'd be tweeting he's heard it pretty quickly after. He's probably reading this now. Hi Steve. And this is how "rumours" and "snippets" become "facts", and then people get upset when something isn't true. Because Steve Man LOOKS like a second source. But he's not. He's repeating what others have said.
Quality player that im a huge fan off. Better a no10 tho, we need a deeper midfielder and he wouldnt be that imo. He will suit their system and play in an AM role
That's bloke on twitter seems to be repeating what Bob said days ago. I know @Prehab26 has mentioned there are a few on twitter that repeat what he has said within a hour if him posting and claim itk. I wonder if this blokes one of the culprits.
We'll see. But that lad needs a club. He needs it this summer too, as the golden egg of a signing on fee is becoming more difficult to get. Clubs are backing off from it and some big names have had to wait for their free moves to go through, with some of them getting a lot less than they would have recieved before covid. Couple of good articles on this last week in The Telegraph. If Broadhead loiters at Everton without playing, he could be looking for a club next summer rather than clubs looking for him. Here or somewhere else, his agent should be gettig him a three/ four year deal while he can. He's a good player, and I'd like him here, but only if he buys into us properly.
I’d be surprised like but never know, we’ll soon see! City normally play 3 in the middle rather than a proper no.10 so I’d imagine they want him playing to suit their system in the future.
he did very well here, good goals per game ratio, good movement, good eye for the back of the net...but that was basically a 'part season' hampered with injuries. both he and his agent really need to take stock, first everton have no place for him and have said as much from what i can gather, secondly there is hardly a line outside waiting to talk to him, third if he is asking premier league wages then unfortunately he will fade away in the reserves. he needs a move, we would welcome him, he knows the club and the personell, he knows the club policy and apparently, this is the club he wants to move to, take a sensible wage then, show your injury is not going to take you out of half the games, get game time and earn your next wage increase and it might just be with us.
Can't see this having any legs. He signed for Ipswich July last year and made 39 appearances last season, scoring 9 goals. Not a great goal scoring record for a striker, but he must have some good attributes to have featured in that many games.
Is he an out and out striker, or does he play wide too? Has plenty Championship experience so could fit the bill - we need to build a squad with genuine options - it made the difference for Coventry on Sunday
