Still talking about longstaff, eeeee man.
He also went into Reid's office before the t-shirt incident saying he wanted a move and couldn't play for us against NewcastleYeah Clark was set-up and give 100% to the club when he was on the pitch. What's wrong with that?
If I went to Newcastle as a kid, I'd still always be a Sunderland supporter. That's just the way it is.
He seems to similar to LND and Simms so I'd be surprised if we go for him. I'd imagine the club would want someone who can fill a number of positions up frontAny distance in this Mathew Hoppe link

Wouldnt suprise me, young lad lost his way a bit since moving to Mallorca, was touted to be Lewandowski replacement a few years back as Bayern were keeping tabs on him.Any distance in this Mathew Hoppe link
Was only saying.......what a fanny.
I remember Bally grabbing hold of him by the shirt It was in a cup match he was not putting effort in and if we won would have played newcastleHe also went into Reid's office before the t-shirt incident saying he wanted a move and couldn't play for us against Newcastle
Leicester cup semi final wasn't it?I remember Bally grabbing hold of him by the shirt It was in a cup match he was not putting effort in and if we won would have played newcastle
Can't remember the game but what a captain Bally wasLeicester cup semi final wasn't it?
Must not forget Ron Guthrie from the 73 cup final and sub David Young who showed the mags how to win a trophy , geordies never learn though - still haven’t- long may it continue!!!We didn't sign Hutchison (who isn't really a Newcastle fan although his family are) from Newcastle, and he'd never played for them. Colback was ours and suddenly became a "massive toon fan" when he signed for them (despite trying to get out of that same contract when West Ham offered him more money)
Other than Clark and Chopra, the only other NUFC fan I can remember us signing is Danny Graham and he was......well, just ****e
I take your point, but I think if we ever want to get back to competing with the mags, then signing mags isn't the way to do it. It maybe be short sighted, it may be parochial but I just think it's a terrible idea
Can't remember the game but what a captain Bally was
“In hindsight, because of my background, it was probably a mistake signing for Sunderland. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy my two seasons on Wearside, I had two of the best years of my lifeHe also went into Reid's office before the t-shirt incident saying he wanted a move and couldn't play for us against Newcastle
