He didn't have the best game yesterday but he looked in agony when his shoulder popped. Did he roll about the floor? Did he cry about it? No, he got it popped back in and ran back into midfield. Love this guy!
I wonder if we will go for a midfielder with O'Neins ongoing shoulder problems?
Does anyone know roughly how long he'd be out for if he had surgery on his shoulder?
I think we still need more additions, Patterson did ok yesterday but he needs a loan imo, centre mid without Evans was a bit of a struggle and less said about McGeady and Gooch the better.
Depends on the surgery to be fair but could easily be 12 weeks. Even then the rehab would be brutal. Pain in the arse a shoulder dislocation.
But most likely manageable. The fact he continued is a good signNot encouraging re. 09 injury
Wouldn't surprise me if McGeady's is also down to age mate, he's going to get slowerFrustrating that both O’Nien and McGeady ended last season needing surgeries but didn’t / couldn’t get them due to being out of contract.
McGeady then had to miss most of pre season to have his, and is clearly struggling as a result. And O’Nien is having to play through the pain to avoid his.
If I’m being greedy I still want:
- One more full back option - ideally right back. Regan Poole would be tremendous as offers cover inside as well
- Goalkeeper
- Winger (two if both Hawkes and Diamond go on loan)
- Central Midfielder

Don't know if it was just my eyes deceiving me but I thought he looked heavier/more bulked up in the first game of the season as well, although he played well in that game. But it does look like his foot injury is affection his performance.Wouldn't surprise me if McGeady's is also down to age mate, he's going to get slower
Apart from the howler when he dropped the ball.........I can remember one shot they had first half just flew past the right post. From where I was sat he had it covered anyway. Did what he had to do...granted, not much tho.
He probably will but I'm sure we will be a big threat to themSam Vokes (who many on here didn’t want when we were linked), has started the season well for Wycombe and will be a big threat next Saturday.
