if grigg really is holding up our 'new player search' then i despise him even more than i already do...he wont get the silly money offer that wyke got and if he was anything of a man/footballer/professional he would get himself a move to get back to playing regular football, the longer he sits there doing feck all the less chance anyone will want him, he never has and never will want to be at this club so the only reason he has to be here is his wages.

I don’t believe for one minute that Jebbison is just waiting for Grigg to leave, but would be good if so.

It does make sense as to why he has been up here all those times and has snubbed a move abroad, although I do question the game time he will get, it’s a let’s wait and see this one

Great day all round and even better for my 8yr old. His other Grandma and Grandad sponsored the match ball so they were in the stadium from about 11. He had his photo and birthday wishes up on the screen, much to his embarrassment. We all met up pitchside before the game and my oldest son gave him a present and birthday card. At halftime he opened up the card and there was a £10 note in. He had met Micky Horswill before the game but Jimmy Montgomery had been around him quite a bit, so he went up to Monty and said he would like to give him the £10 for being nice to him.
After taking the £10 (joking), Montgomery asked him if he would like to go with him and promptly took him down to the tunnel and met O9, his favourite player.
He was then given a ball with all the players signatures on, which wrapped the day perfectly, apart from having a takeaway tonight at our house when they got back.

Sky Sports Lads Fan Tom White has revealed Sunderland are in preliminary talks with Arsenal over the loan signing of right-back Ryan Alebiosu.

White also spoke about the ongoing interest in Sheff Utd striker Daniel Jebbison and explained that his arrival is being held up as the club are yet to find a taker for Will Grigg:

"From the Sheffield United side of things, someone has said that Jebbison has many clubs to choose from. Sunderland are one of which and I believe the reason he hasn’t actually made his decision yet publicly is because he has chosen Sunderland but we are waiting to let go of Grigg."
