Spot on, were talking before the game about how Scowen, Power and even Leadbitter (who was our best passer) would generally keep it short and sideways, now the movement in the middle of the pitch is constant with players running at the opposition and looking for forward passes all the time.
I'm not getting into the whole ITK clart on again but I was briefly chatting to a clever fella this morning, about the match.
He's not Sunderland but knows a couple of football agents, one of whom I can't abide ... you might guess.
Anyway he said, as if I already knew, 'Of course you lot have the advantage of offering cash, not instalments'.
I just agreed 'cos I like him to think I'm more in the know than I actually am, loosens his tongue a bit

There are multiple bids in with value over 2m mate. Just want the right players. Been chasing them long enough.
This really.I think what he’s trying to say is if they are not necessary it’s best if people just keep their
s hite replies to themselves so it doesn’t become like RTG.

Close on a top centre back
Wonder if Jebbison is a loan, or purchase. Not sure Sheff Utd would sell, but he looks like if we signed him, he could make the step up leagues as he matures. Even a loan this year and we might be able to make permanent next season.
Good stuff. A top quality centre back alongside the young lad would be badly needed.
I agree especially with Xhemajli to return too. Flanagan isn’t great but he’s decent enough back up in this league.

Good news. We definitely need to strengthen there as well! I’d be comfortable with Winchester at RB for the first game if needs be so hopefully a LB is the 3rd signing!
I’ve always said a centre half is more of a priority then a right back in my eyes at least for the start of the season, just hoping the other player is a left back
Winchester did well last night, decent option for us with his versatility.
