Fully agree mate, I just don’t see what relevance it had as I have alluded to above. It was agent provocateurs stuff and some people fell into the trap :emoticon-0105-wink:

What I was alluding to was that people were saying that we wouldn't pick up points cos we didn't have any proper full backs. At that time, I thought it was detrimental to 1 - the players who have been asked to fill those positions, 2 - the other members of the team and maybe the club itself by staying that we wouldn't be able to compete in the league without having the proper players in place. Now they have watched the team not only compete but play well and supporters can actually see an identity in the way we play, it seems that it made their argument seem a bit redundant. There was no trap set but in a way I was reiterating my previous point. This will be the last I will mention it, we've had a good result last night preseason or not. There's rumours of 3 players coming into the club, hopefully we have a good season to look forward to.

We’ve just watched what I would say was a pretty good and comforting performance, I like the way we are trying to play, we look decent with the ball, always searching out a forward pass and even Will Grigg scored. We have had a pretty good pre season on the pitch, yet the first thing that he can think of is “ why no moaning from those who want full backs”. In turn that enticed people like you to reference bed wetting even though we actually do need full backs. Christ why can’t people just accept that everyone is different and there is no need for playground insults, it’s embarrassing, not conducive to debating and will only assist in driving posters away. Now whether you think great, they were **** posters anyhow is irrelevant, the RTG influence is here now and I don’t think it’s big nor clever. I have no interest whatsoever in debating today or any day with infantile name calling being thrown around. I’m sure we can discuss the matter in hand like adults
BTW I’m banned from over the road, for providing a mature, senile and quite frankly fully deserved and appropriate response. But then again, you have two choices over the road, fight fire with fire and get reported or report them first, I choose the former. I’m not so sure that incontinence is any way an appropriate reaction to needing full backs.

Incontinence is the way forward, reduces the need for toilet water and bog roll, by the way, it wasnt me that referenced bed wetting, I just added to the comment, but there are far too many who just seem to want to go batshit crazy, about next to nothing, lets get the 3 or 4 players in that we need, of the correct quality and I think we will be fine.

I think I am agreeing with you

Notr sure what this Wayne guy has done wrong?

Had a little pop at the doommongers supporters we have? Good on him...

They're very quick to laugh at posters with hope and optimism and never miss the chance to have a pop if things don't go well ....

.... then hide behind the usual, "Let's not argue, we're all Sunderland supporters," when they're proved wrong.

If you can't handle it don't dish it out.

It’s only pre season mate, when Sunderland get beat that’s the excuse. We’ve played well which has encouraged me, but their argument isn’t redundant because we need full backs.

It will be the way forward naturally for me in a couple of years. Tena for men is the solution not overlapping full backs

It's not actually an argument at all though is it ...

... no one, club included, are arguing against the need for full backs, hence the bids for full backs.

The argument, from some, is that the club are doing nothing about it which is ridiculous.

Some people just seem to want to have a moan while they have the opportunity.

Can't be bothered to type it out again so I've copied it just for you - No one has denied that we need full backs as well as other quality players to fill the team out

Well there is that side of the argument, I just find the bed wetting nonsense that followed, a bit tedious. It just ruins a debate.

I agree mate, but it's only as tedious as optimistic Sunderland supporters being mocked ....

... you know as well as I do what some of the clowns would be posting if we'd lost against Hull.

It can't just be one rule for some and not others, this isn't the current Government <laugh>

Sounds like things will be looking much better by the end of the week.

Jebbison is an exciting signing, mind.

Agreed if it happens. I’m feeling really positive about a very good season ahead, if and when a couple of decent defenders are added to the squad. Central midfield is way stronger and mobile than last season already.
