Agreed if it happens. I’m feeling really positive about a very good season ahead, if and when a couple of decent defenders are added to the squad. Central midfield is way stronger and mobile than last season already.

When you look back on clips from last season it looks like it's buffering <laugh>

Last night it was good to see our midfielders all taking the ball and looking forward. Embleton in particular was a breath of fresh air.

Right so what do people reckon? Is today the today?

I do wonder if this bug is going to slow any announcements down?
They might not be able to get photos and sounds bites needed to do announcements if people arent available

I am hoping one of the cash bids in is a left back considering we pulled the Gallagher deal. Hopefully that was down to a better player becoming available in that position or a previous negotiation where the club, player and agent couldn’t agree terms/wanted more time to see other options available and either decided Sunderland is the best option or they’ve come back and reduced their demands.

Jebbison would be a great signing, at least on paper. I dont understand why Sheff Utd dont keep him, wonder if they have forgotten they are in the championship! Cant see them loaning to a championship club if they dont think he is ready for their own crack at it. If it is L1 we will be in pole position due to the experience he will get in front of big crowds, pressure etc. Geographically it will work for the lad as well. Will really look forward to watching him play. With Embleton, McGeady, Diamond, Gooch, O'Nien and Pritchard providing chances he should relish playing up front.
