Genuinely pleased with the Dykes and Smyth deals. Would be even more buoyed if Field signed an extension as well.

Stephen Duke-McKenna and Arkell Jude-Boyd have both agreed new contracts as well. Wonder if we might see more younger players in and around the first team this season, got to really given how thin the squad is.
Those lads have been given new contracts in a brilliant income generation move, every shirt with their names printed on the back makes a shedload more dosh that those for Paal, Chair etc. it’s why we have Clarke- Salter, the motherlode, and don’t care if he ever plays.

Heard SDM didn't start a League game for Orient last season even when fit, and wasn't even on the Bench for some.

They should coax Jan Venegoor of Hesselink out of retirement...

Did anyone else see the rumour on twitter a couple of days ago about Troy Deeney seen at Heston?
I remember him being very critical about us when he was linked to us a few years back.
Anyone think he has anything to offer now?
Trying to find his way to Arsenal who he turned down....supposedly!!

Why go to Leeds...."sideways" or Burnley..."Back down next yr??"
In my opinion either would be a good move for him personally. Leeds is a strange one as they have no manager or DOF in place to make such a decision, so take that as bollox. They do have an extraordinary pool of talent in their youth set up and with the right manager could easily bounce back up straight away. Burnley probably played a style of football that actually suited the premier League rather than the championship. In Kompany, they have a very promising manager and I feel they could actually stay up comfortably.

'You never win anything with kids'! Just saying.

Very inconsistent player when I saw him last couple of seasons. At his best was almost unplayable, but went missing in games far too often. Similar to Willock when he was playing well , but bit more of a winger. Will wait and see what transpires
