Good news that he's signed, as opposed to sitting out his contract or going elsewhere and sitting on the bench. Now for Willock and Chair to commit as well and I'll start feeling a lot more optimistic.

Did Thomas ever get a proper run of games? 5-10 in a row to really have a chance? I quite liked some of his appearances from the bench, but various managers obviously didn't see enough.
Did he even get a full 90 mins at any point?

Also, I'd be happy if Smyth does sign.

Also, also delighted Dykes has signed a new deal.

Chair doesn't need to ....he's here to 2025.

Willock, is only here for one more year... he us the one who is running down his contract....but come on Chris's, another year of lack of interest, and immobility and who will buy you.

He needs to hit the ground running, and see what happens in the next 6 months...

Lyndon has some work to do for the club. There’s no doubting he’s a grafter and works hard on the pitch. Just need those goals (and to stop shooting at the ‘keeper). Good news though. As RTID says, shows intent by the club.
Lots more needs to be done though.

To me this shows a commitment to the club. He could pick a club with greater potential which offers more money but chose to stay. Agree with Bob though doesn't mean he will stay - just that we will not be sold short by a player conning us to get away as quickly and cheaply as possible like Bright Osayi Samuel did.
