The later we leave things the more we get it wrong. As always hope I'm wrong but the fact we haven't even announced sales is strange, even for us.

Surely something would have to have leaked now for it to be close? People say the club keeps its cards close to its chest, but we've known of the 2 supposed midfielders for days and Mepham for several hours at least.

agreed. Nothing credible.

even Mepham got leaked this morning. Anyone in similar boat would have been leaked by now.

Yeah but why over the last transfer windows do we leave it till the last hour
We buy no one then read the next day we nearly had this one that one just missed the deadline
No excuses we have a few hours to get a cf in place

It’s the hope that kills you. Convince yourself that this window will be different and served with the same. If ever there was a time to go all out, it’s now while we are on top.

We have though as hemir has gone and Anderson has been let go.

Feels like it's a trademark Speakman last minute couldn't get the deals over the line bullshit statement tomorrow about how Poveda was always supposed to be our 4th striker etc etc
