All the signs are pointing to no striker coming in and I think it was nothing other than blind faith and hope that there is.

In the past we have struggled to offer competitive fees and wages but we are told that this is the sustainability model and that is fine. They have (effectively) £20m sitting in the bank to get a striker. It will be unforgiveable if they fail again

We have missed them for about 3 windows now it's embarrassing how we cannot decide or secure a goalscorer. Even worse we have money behind us and still spent very little. I hope I am wrong but like our managerial search we are now onto 4th or 5th targets and will end up with a 13 year old Peruvian for the model.

but what does that mean tho? Haaland could be a target but there must have been some willingness to come or some ability to afford the move, so be interesting to see why these deals don't happen.

Cannon, Mendy, Simic, Orban etc, can't bag one, yes they're all at different levels but still

Surely something would have to have leaked now for it to be close? People say the club keeps it's cards close to it's chest, but we've known of the 2 supposed midfielders for days and Mepham for several hours at least.
