Burnley ****ed up big time. They got promoted with a good team then sacked most of them off for a bunch of mercenaries who just wanted to play in the premier league.

Now they've been relegated unsurprisingly all the mercenaries want to leave, and all the players they replaced want to leave as they're pissed off at being replaced.
American owners seemingly taking the draft approach to football, never ever going to work long term

On reflection I'd actually rather we signed just one more striker alongside two full backs (one for each side), rather than two strikers and just one sided full back.

I think full backs are so important to how we play, and we need a back up to each. If we sign another striker we'll have three that can play there and do a job.

So once we have a striker and a full back, the other side full back would be next on my list.
I don't think we need 2 full backs tbh. Another centre half frees up O'Nien to cover the fullbacks

I'd be happy enough keeping O'Nien at centre half and getting an extra specialist full back in myself. Whilst O'Nien could absolutely do a job at right back as back up to Hume, I'd rather we had someone more natural out there. O'Nien is doing absolutely fine at CB

He can stay at CB until needed. Weve got Huggins to come back as well. If we were to get a FB in I'd be looking at a loan. I wouldn't be making an outlay on one with a transfer fee. Money imo would be better off spent elsewhere

I'd be worried about how much we're just creating a future problem for ourselves.

It would be unlikely that we get a full back better than what we already have, so we're buying a back up. On the left we have Huggins medium term and Bainbridge's pathway longer term. So using Alese and Hjelde in the absence of Cirkin would be ok for me, given that any signing is essentially for the bench.

I agree with the need for a right back, but I'd rather have a striker.
