If you look at Burnleys 20 man squad for their opening game against Luton, 12 of them are now gone/going/linked away. Thats crazy.

Foster - going
Koleosho - linked to Wolves
Odobert - joined Spurs
Vitinho - linked back to Brazil
Brownhill - linked to a number of teams
O'Shea - joined Ipswich
Trafford - linked to mags
Zaroury - joined Lens
Weghorst - linked away
McNally - linked away

Then add in players who features in their next 2 games:
Gudmundsson - joined Saudi
Amdouni - joining Benfica

Also lost Berge recently to Fulham.

I think it’s fair to say we played them at the PERFECT time.

Good players as well, not clearing out dead wood.

Surely no longer to be seen as the best side in the league. We get this striker right it’s us, Leeds and Boro to beat for me.

Looks like Leicester only have 2 strikers. Maybe they would be open to accepting this bid quick to get someone in? We are the only one with a perm offer so far and I really don’t see any of the clubs linked being able to pay 5m+ bar maybe Luton. But we are still the best place for minutes for him also

Far too early to say, I reckon. Sheff United haven’t started great but they’ve got a cracking squad and will be right up there.

Aye, I'm not impressed with their ownership at all, I think these type of owners see the gamble of the Premier League fortunes with a parachute safety net and get greedy. First sign of problems and they're pulling the plug.

I won't be telling JJ Watt to his face that he's not a good owner though! <laugh>

Would assume that if Cannon is not involved tonight is that their close to a deal with someone and only really seen one solid link of a bid for him being from ourselves it could mean things are moving on quite well?

I don't know the lads character but Luton is a very similar move to the one he made last summer so I don't think he'd do it again. He'd be 3rd choice there.

Maybe we should offer to loan them Ba and Jewi. Sounds like they'll get plenty of minutes and at Championship level <laugh>

Burnley are a bit of a shambles but I still think its them and Sheff United who go up automatically. Burnley will spend big in the next few days, and Parker will get them playing dull but effective football.
