Regarding full back cover. I’m not one for loans unless we have an option to buy but a loan from some Premier Club until the January window when Huggins and Seelt should be back would be the ideal solution.

Think a loan at rb would be ideal then we can assess Huggins once he is back from injury and Pembele if he goes out on loan

Makes perfect sense that the Clarke sale and this signing are linked.

Would make sense that was all agreed Wednesday and he ‘left without agreement’ means he left having agreed the move and is awaiting the dominos falling.

Seems perfectly logical that we're waiting for the Clarke deal to move before doing the Simic deal, if Clarke was to fall through we'd be left with more players than squad spaces.

I think it had to be that way, we can’t do the deal with them directly.

Be messy when it comes to wanting to keep him as well, I’m sure there must be a system in place somehow.

Surprised we don't even need to pay him his wages direct to him. Seems like the least we could do.

Imagine we finish top 6 and he bangs in 20 goals and we haven't paid a ****ing thing. Madness.

We were really interest in Reis from Hamburg, very talented CM. He knows that we were over to see him quite a few times last season, including Harvey himself going out.

He used to work for Hamburg so still gets the odd piece of info, he says there was interest from us at the start of the window n he wonders if we might revisit it with the money from the Clarke deal.

No idea if we have a bid in or anything like that, just serious interest. Imo i cant see it since we signed Browne earlier in the window n have Neil Jobe n Rigg looking to kick on this season but you never know.

He also said Simic would be class for us and has 'top level potential'.

Surely that's too ambitious from us at this point? Rumours of an £8m release fee and Bundesliga interest last season.
