If it makes you feel any better I told me missus (who told everyone at her work) that the championship was getting VAR, it wasn’t happening on the first match and I thought well what’s all this !

Surely we can’t get Isidor, Mendy, and Simic. Dreamland if so. Mayenda to go out on loan perhaps. Mendy and Simic can only play up top. Isidor can play out wide, could be part of a post-Clarke transition plan.
I’ve got a feeling we might change formation. I know it sounds mad given we have won two on the bounce without conceding a goal. Think we could see one less defender and one extra attacker. RLB mentioned this as a possibility as to why we don’t need extra full back cover for Hume because we could move to 3 centre backs and he referenced a change in/out of possession. We could play a midfielder in possession, who drops into defence out of possession. Browne perhaps? That would enable us to play a box four centre mid, or two strikers. If we rotated defenders a bit more, you could see one L09 rotate with Hume/Ballard/Alese. Think Luke could cover all 3 positions really well.

I'm going to miss him, he might just be the best winger to play for the lads that I've seen in my lifetime, the only ones that come close are Summerbee, Johnston, Steed and maybe Kieran Richardson.
Honestly thought with his ability and numbers he'd attract a more established prem club than Ipswich, especially for that price.

Surprised he's going to Ipswich. McKenna is a good coach, but Ipswich? Really? Stepping stone at best.
