Maybe a stupid question but... does that mean much? There could be more negotiations tomorrow? Or we need to finalise things with his club before officially offering a deal? Or any number of other reasons... Wouldn't it be a little odd if we did manage to get a contract signed, sealed, and delivered the first day he visits the ground?
