I think it’s natural to worry. The only fact we have is that no striker has been signed.
I think it's natural not to worry about things that aren't in your control.

A few weeks ago you were really worried about a lot of things at the club. I'm pretty sure they've addressed them all bar the obvious one.

Let them get on with it, just chill and enjoy the match.

Sorry like, I’m pretty balanced. It’s okay every now and then to be concerned about the club. You don’t have to pretend everything’s fine all the time. Likewise you don’t have to pretend everything’s **** all the time.

This forum could really do with people not constantly calling out any sort of concern as “twisting” etc. there’s a difference between the likes of Monty who thinks everything is awful, and people being annoyed that we don’t have a striker signed before the new season starts.

My concern is that we want to sign “value”, which is much much easier earlier in the window. Which we’ve missed.

If the deal was agreed with Caen then the new owners have moved the goalposts it’s not the clubs fault, however we need to **** it off and focus on other targets asap which I’m sure they are doing
Its not but thats also how transfers work, got to always have a 2nd option available to pivot to if your no1 target isnt available for whatever reason

Im still in the relaxed camp but ask me if ill be the same in 10 days with no more activity in, then itll probably be a different story

A lot of the strikers that weve been linked with are still available, only really Ugbo thats moved.

Hoping Mayenda gets off to a flyer as thatll take the pressure off a little bit

I’m getting nervy but I’m naturally a worrier no matter how hard I try not too haha, still stansfield etc yet to go anyway like you say he’d be a great option wether a loan or a perm, not hitting self destruct yet just trying to focus on tomorrow and looking forward to hopefully a positive showing, time to shine Mayenda lad

It's very, very poor we don't have a forward in for tomorrow. No excuses.

We are risking a poor start, risking damaging Mayenda's confidence and development, risking having to pay significantly over the odds at the end of a window, all for absolutely no reason.

We have a good recruitment team who have found some gems for bargain prices in other positions, give them some money to identify a forward who can play in this system.

Many other clubs have signed some pretty good forwards, why are we struggling so much?
