Atletico bid £60m+ for Julian Alvarez. He’d need replacing at City, quality player

That is ridiculous. A serious talent, for minimum fee. Sort of thing I hope we do in time.
Not sure if you’re being serious? Jack Clarke springs to mind for a start.

If you mean specifically with regards to the buyback option then that’s similar to how the Cirkin deal was structured.

£3.5m seems a lot for a lad who has barely played a first team game. He may be decent but he may struggle.
He looks a good player from what very little I’ve seen.

On a very base level, which I’m loathed to do (even more so for U21 footy) but it give me some likely misguided reassurance, Tommy Watson had more goals and assists than him in the PL2 last season (not as many in the Champions League though unfortunately).

Hopefully we start making progress on strikers this week. Premier squad members starting to move, kick off due. We seem close but we need to land someone. I’ll be disappointed if we aren’t at least close to someone by kick off. I was fairly confident we’d nail at least one quite early to show we meant business after last years mess but here we are ticking on. Not losing the plot yet but it’s starting to get twitchy. Do we need people out?

A few need to leave, I’d say Anderson, Matete, Embleton need permanent moves.
Possibly Triantis, Johnson, Bennette, Hemir need loan moves. possible questions over Ba, Aouchiche, Ekwah and Rusyn although I’d probably keep all of those.

Chucky Puddin who is on here and RTG has said Mendy is coming in so if you believe him it could be finally coming to an end haha

Agree with much of that, what I meant was, are we needing to free up wages

How can we complete them? Their average gate is 28k ffs

If we sold out every game at £30 ticket, that would bring in £33million. (We don’t. And the average is actually far less than £30 seat…)

We then have to pay wages, bills, fund academy, signing in fees etc.

To run the club sustainably, which the ownership have never hidden as the goal, we need a sale.

The clubs stance is to not sell if the deal isn’t right. It’s the correct way to do it but will hold us back in terms of buying in short term.

I’ll take this over worrying about the club falling apart, frustrating as it is.

all of this

Not meaning to criticise anyone that passes on genuine ITK stuff that get stuff right/wrong, but even the ****ehawks have went quiet. It’s almost as if we would be better off not wasting our time on forums and just wait until the club make an official announcement…
