Also not one of us knows what Dodds and Proctor do or do not bring to the party. They may be excellent coaches who just don't have the skills/personalities to be the Head Coach. Absolutely nothing wrong with that and if RLB is happy with them then we have no cause to complain.

Tell you what we do know.

The players love Doddsy, and that speaks massive volumes.

Absolutely. They are not bad coaches but not good enough for the main voice in the ear of the main man. Yet here we are.

RLB isn't going to come out and raise hell is he. But the situation is not ideal from a logical standpoint.
I have to ask this but how do you know if they are good coaches or not? A lot of assumptions being made by folk who really don't know what these guys offer.

He won't be. But a good experienced number 2 will be worth their weight in gold for a foreign head coach who has zero experience in the league he about to call the shots in.

It's just all very random and similar to our head coach search. Drawn out.
Postegoclu inherited coaches at celtic and did fine

They were good enough for Alex Neil to get us promoted and Tony Mowbray to get us 6th so no idea who anyone can say they aren't good enough (I suspect it's entirely based on the end of last season)

The conversation is more around one of them being RLB’s assistant. Both TM and AN had their own assistant with Dodds and proctor on the coaching staff

See some of our morons on socials are twisting over this image. Browne and Poveda on free transfers is great business and their still nearly a month left of the window

Be interested to see the money each of these clubs have made from transfer fees this summer as well. We've spent nothing because we've made nothing.

This fitness issue is a myth ...

... he's had less injuries than Ballard.
It’s not though, is it?

24 y/o. Hardly played man. Very rare he completes 90 minutes too. A lot of those appearances are a few minutes here and there off the bench.

Complete speculation on my part but I think the club are waiting to see if an additional support for RLB is needed or if he hits it off well with Dodds and Proctor. If it all goes well they can just keep it as it is and not disrupt the applecart. And then fix it when / if it starts going wrong.

Personally i'd rather be proactive and get somebody in to support now. But as I've said all along, the most important thing here is getting RLB what he wants and needs. Not what us fans think he needs. Not even what the club thinks he needs. It needs to be RLB with the say. And if he's happy with what he's got - great.
Or they’re doing exactly as they’ve said they’re doing, actively interviewing potential candidates but not just appointing someone for the sake of it, only willing to take on the right person.

There doesn’t always have to be some conspiracy with the club lying to us.

Norwich fans are already seemingly massively disillusioned with both Thorup and Knapper.

Far too early for them to judge in my opinion but it’s difficult to turn around that momentum when things get too negative (booed off at half time in their final preseason fixture etc).
