A great player out of the league, but another club with some money to spend now.

Bit of a weird move for me, thought he'd go to a top league.
Not sure they will tbh, heard they had to generate money cos of financial issues

He’s a hell of a player, that’s a massive loss for them. Arguably the best CM going into this season and very versatile.
I’m surprised a Prem team wasn’t in for him. A superb player who would be good enough for most bottom half Prem teams. It’ll be interesting to see how they replace him and if they can re-invest much of the money they received.

Reading social media their fans seem to think the fee was £15M which is low if true.

Galatasaray is a kind of a decent club mind.

It’s actually quite a big deal seeing a lad go to that level from second tier.

They have and have had the odd half decent player…

Cracking player though for sure one of the best in the league, Norwich unlikely to be able to replace at the same standard or even close to.

The. Championship is now seen by a lot of the “2nd tier” leagues as a place to find quality and value. The success of Gyokeres in particular has shown there are some really good players in the league.

Absolutely mate, not to the level that moving to Galatasaray isn’t a fantastic move for the lad though.

That is an incredible football club, that pays proper salaries, in the Champions League, with a bunch of really star names in it.

It'll be interesting to see if they have a replacement lined up.

And I wonder how many many more Championship clubs lose players before the window closes ...

... quite a few seem to be struggling financially.

For sure mate. You look at Norwich and WBA, historic ‘yo-yo’ clubs that have always had parachute income now they look ****ed.

Surprised at Norwich as they never spent when they went up. We’re quite renowned for that, and they have consistently sold relatively well.

Shows how easy it is to fall in the ****.
