I'm quite surprised at how keen people are to get Hemir out of the club tbh.

He's a young inexperienced lad who needs a clear path and proper coaching ...

... we've no one like him at the club, a good loan then I'd be more inclined to judge him.

With you 100% on this.

It’s like folk are willing him to be a write off. Bizarre.

I agree mate. I personally feel that whilst I like the clubs strategy of buying young talent, they overdid it last summer to the point where you’re bringing in Hemir, a young lad with 0 experience, and giving him the number 9 - it brings a lot more expectation.
Similar with Jobe, albeit Jobe faired a lot better. Many write Hemir off because he wasn’t good enough last season, but really, that should never have been the expectation.

Good signing for L1 level. Wrexham could well be in the mix for another promotion…

Would definitely prefer Hemir went on loan rather than permanent. Would hope regular football would boost his confidence and with it more of a work ethic (which he’s lacked when I’ve seen him)

It would also mean that, if he has a good season, we have more chance of getting a half decent fee. Even if players don’t work out here, especially young players, we need to use the loan system to maximise their reseale value.

Exactly, a dozen goals and his value is up to £2m before you know it ...

... a 6'4" striker, with a shot that could take a keeper's hands off, would be a wanted man.

Reactions: Stranded in Lugano
Never understood the obsession with us having a striker who presses, we didn’t even play a high press. Haaland was the PL top scorer last 2 seasons and had barely any touches most games, runs the least, doesn’t press..
We do now though with Le Bris’ setup

We haven’t had a competitive game yet to determine exactly how we’ll play though, pre season has been a total mixed bag. So people are moaning about us not having a striker who does something we’ve never really required as of yet.

He’s said it himself one of the main parts of our style will be the high press

Surprised that Campbell hasn’t already been snapped up
