Capology (which is largely nonsense imo) has it down as £8k a week. There's another website which does the same thing as Capology which states £47k a week.

I doubt either of them are true but I wouldn't be shocked if it's closer to the latter than the former.

Leicester needed promotion, had money to throw about and outspent other clubs to win the race for Cannon last summer. They didn't do that by offering him £8k a week.

They were competing with the likes of us and Preston mate, not Man United.

Nobody was giving him mad money to stay in the Championship when he hadn’t even had his first proper contract at Everton yet.

Football contracts are pretty public after accounts published.

The simic situation actually gives me some hope, if we were really after him as our no1 target i dont think he would have gone to cardiff for them to loan him out to Belgium. Folk can say they might have offered better wages but i cant see them paying big wages on a player they see as a future player only. Makes me think that he wasnt the no1 target and was just a player of interest

Im not confident we will get the 5 players i think we need tomorrow (2cms, 2 cfs and a defender) but i do think the 2 CMs will sign plus 1 CF

Got to get the deals done mate, being linked isn’t enough. A linked player isn’t going to play and score the goals
