I thought you were a decent poster and have enjoyed previous correspondence but kind of seeing why you ain’t that popular otr so to speak.
Selling your best player for relevant peanuts ain’t good business. Some supporters it appears would have helped these owners decorate the BCB for the mags. Some need to open their eyes on how badly we are being run.
I've seen a lot of stars rise at our club over the past 60 years and am excited about the prospects we already have and more that will inevitably shine bright in the future. Part of the process, and the passing of time means that we only see those stars for a while, for my part I will enjoy them whilst I can watch them, for the most part wish them well when they move on.
Right now I am probably more excited about our squad than I can ever remember, and am looking forward to this season and more to follow. The finances are really none of my business, we have to trust the owners to be careful guardians of OUR club, like the stars, they are also transitory.
All I ask is that I can watch attractive football that raises my expectations and excitement for every game, I accept that there will be bumps in the road, as with life in general, but the club will be around long after me.

He sounds like he’ll fulfil a lot of the Clarke roll in so far as we’ll have him and Mundle as the main players out there with Poveda, Watson and Ba as other options. Throw in Simic and Mendy and that’s a stronger team overall I think.

We just aren't being ran badly though are we. First time in a long time we've made a serious profit on a player, that is the sign of a well ran club if you can do it consistently. You have to sell to improve. You think the fee is low, that is fair enough but considering precedent it's a more than fair fee. Especially considering the addons are apparently in our favour and the sell on clause means if he does well we'll get an additional windfall at some point in the future.
Selling to reinvest is the only way non parachute payment clubs can compete.
Depends also on international clearance. But I think the paperwork has to be done by 12 and the international clearance can come later.

. There’s a load of made up **** on both message boards and sometimes when something gets rolling it becomes reality to some. Hence why “monorail”keeps getting mentioned. I get both sides of the argument on here if I’m honest, if you have criticism of the club, you can air it, if you think all is rosy fair enough too. All should be without abuse and acceptance that opinions differ in every walk of life. Me of course I’m Mr Middleman, the purveyor of fine posts and producer of bullshit in equal measures.Perhaps ott but some supporters need to open their eyes.
