May I be the first to mention him on this thread, Amad has removed all pictures of Man United from his twitter and instagram and only has pictures of him in Sunderland kit. Apparently was meant to have a meeting with Ten Hag today aswell.

His progression has really stalled after last season. Must be pissed off!

Who we'll lose depends on where we finish. The lower we go the more will want to be away (and the less we'll be able to get for them).

We desperately need three or four experienced players. Men, not boys, who'll help the talent we've got be more consistent.

No kids this window please.

More required imo. Solid players who’ve done it at this level before. That’s me just being hopeful, not expecting it mind.

Depends on how good those players are tho. Our 'model' when SD n CM were in charge was sign proven players in that league n it was shocking. We then get younger hungrier players in and we kick on - also signing of experienced players from the league above was key

Ideally i would want players who know the league but im fine with players who havent played in the league before but they have to be able to hit the ground running. For me that means players that have played at a good level for a couple yrs

The Ballard signing was the perfect mix of age, experience and ability. Need to get back to them signings.

All our sellable assets are on long term contracts, no matter where we finish in the league we control the price tag.
We also proved in the last 2 windows if the value isn't met they aren't for sale.
The club have gotten a few things wrong, but tying are best talent to long term contracts has been a master stroke

Incorrect. All of the major assets we have are tied down till 2026 at the earliest and then you just need to look at recent precedent of transfers from the championship to higher leagues to see the league position means nothing. Alex Scott from Bristol City to Bournemouth for 25million, Adam Wharton from Blackburn to Palace for 20million, Gyokeres and Hamer from Coventry to Sporting and Sheff Utd for 20million each, Pedro from Watford to Brighton for 30million. We control the price, we managed to get a good fee for an injured Stewart within the championship.

Just to add to this, he's now deleted his twitter.

You get the impression Amad would genuinely consider a permanent here if we could somehow come up with £18-20million.
Loan with the option to buy he's a year left from the summer. Get him on a free when he helps get us promoted :emoticon-0100-smile

Don't think he'll go for anything near that, mind. His value will have plummeted at United and he'll only have a year left on his contract in summer. I reckon £5 - £6m plus a few add-ons might be enough to do it

I’d be staggered if he went for that sort of fee personally. Would be a bargain.
