We've spent money on plenty players in the last 24 months. Just because the likes of Mundle, Aouchiche, Jobe, Rusyn, Hemir, Pembele. Mayenda, Ba, Benette, Triantis & Seelt were signed for "undisclosed fees" doesn't mean we didn't spend money.

I think it's more this summer, if Mendy comes in cool, I get it we've waited to spend but if he doesn't then I wonder why we won't have spent this summer if that makes sense
Because we've sold nobody. We've made a loss in the last two seasons whereas all the big spenders are making profits in the market. Sorry if I keep repeating myself on here but I can't believe we haven't sold anyone, it's killing us.
Hopefully Ekwah is up next but I hope we make a sale soon because we really need to get a CF in and if we need to sell to do it, let's do it
Don't think we need to wonder marra....most of us can see what we're trying to do. It is frustrating that we've been unable so far to sign a ready made striker,but,that apart,what alternative course of action would you suggest we follow.?
Maybe we will see more Ekwah out rumours as he seems to be the most likely to leave for decent money right now, not sure anyone is willing to match our Clarke valuation.
Would Poveda and Browne be better signings if we'd paid £2m for each of them?

How much will we realistically get for Ekwah? Then you have to factor in West Ham taking a chunk of it

Would we have signed poveda if he wasn't free? Doubful.
We need to invest and spent a fee on an experienced striker. Currently fee outplay is zero.
How do we spend without selling though? Nobody is doing it.
