Summer '24 transfer window

We can't just sit and be afraid of going up though if that makes sense, that's the goal surely?

 

Yep,season like them two had last year is miserable for everyone.

 

Of course it is...but only when we can compete. We have to be ready. I don't think we're far away.

It’s getting to the point to wonder what we are actually doing and if there is a reluctance to spend any money at all on a team that has so much potential.

It’s so frustrating and infuriating

 

I’m not surprised when our fanbase would rather watch us in the championship than the PL because we might not get beat as often we only lost 2 less games than Burnley last season

 

Until we sell someone this is the way it will be and frankly it's how it is for everyone in this division.

 

We've spent money on plenty players in the last 24 months. Just because the likes of Mundle, Aouchiche, Jobe, Rusyn, Hemir, Pembele. Mayenda, Ba, Benette, Triantis & Seelt were signed for "undisclosed fees" doesn't mean we didn't spend money.

 

Burnley played 8 more games than us, so it's not really a realistic comparison.

But you know that already.

 

I think it's more this summer, if Mendy comes in cool, I get it we've waited to spend but if he doesn't then I wonder why we won't have spent this summer if that makes sense

 

Because we've sold nobody. We've made a loss in the last two seasons whereas all the big spenders are making profits in the market. Sorry if I keep repeating myself on here but I can't believe we haven't sold anyone, it's killing us.

 

Hopefully Ekwah is up next but I hope we make a sale soon because we really need to get a CF in and if we need to sell to do it, let's do it

 

Don't think we need to wonder marra....most of us can see what we're trying to do. It is frustrating that we've been unable so far to sign a ready made striker,but,that apart,what alternative course of action would you suggest we follow.?

 

Maybe we will see more Ekwah out rumours as he seems to be the most likely to leave for decent money right now, not sure anyone is willing to match our Clarke valuation.

 

Would Poveda and Browne be better signings if we'd paid £2m for each of them?

 

This isn't relevant to my point. We need a CF and we won't get what we need for free, so if one doesn't come in there's no excuse for me really and makes me wonder why

 

How much will we realistically get for Ekwah? Then you have to factor in West Ham taking a chunk of it

 

Would we have signed poveda if he wasn't free? Doubful.

We need to invest and spent a fee on an experienced striker. Currently fee outplay is zero.

 

How do we spend without selling though? Nobody is doing it.

 

I highly doubt it.
