Welcome, now tell us everything you know :emoticon-0102-bigsm
There’s nothing really that hasn’t already been mentioned ish over here yet. But I’m not going to be cryptic and will update whenever I get something

as far as strikers go it was Stansfield, Ugbo and Mendy I was told were the permanent options we’re looking at.

My worry now is I think Ugbo and Stansfield are way out of price range

All info is appreciated mate, any one of those 3 would be fantastic, stansfield would be my choice

That was about 5 years ago we can’t stall forever because we might sign a dud that’s the chance you take unfortunately. If the scouts have done their work then it shouldn’t happen. We sign plenty of wingers there’s never any conversation about being cautious in case they’re the next Lewis Morgan..
It will always happen no mattter how much work the scouts do. The scouts will review hours of highlights/games, go watch plenty of live games, research about what the player is like, what their injury record is and whether a player is likely to settle into the club

They can do all that and get it 'wrong', in the sense that a signing doesnt work out

Appreciate it, it's mental I get hammered on rtg because I'm mostly positive and then get grief over here for the slightest concern, it's like one extreme to the other haha.

also - @MadMackem77 welcome mate it's better over here (I think <laugh>)
Haha it’s just words on a screen mate wouldn’t worry about it, worries are valid, those who aren’t are worried’s opinions are also valid we all want the same end result

You can say whatever you like mate, I will say though it does come across like you're wetting your knickers over the striker situation, I'd say we'd all like that wrapped up ASAP but perhaps a bit more of a laid back "trust the plan" attitude will see you come across less manic depressive. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Again, say what you like, but so will others.

Let's say we don't, what benefit do you get with worry? We will be here supporting them now, next season and in twenty seasons time, we might be winning the Champions League or we might be getting relegated from League Two.
