I think people forget this too, he’s only a year older than Rigg and gets a fair amount of stick when he has a poor game whilst Rigg can’t do any wrong to a lot of fans because he’s touted as being our academies top product. He’s also played out of position a fair bit and done a job, when Rigg was played on the right wing he looked hopeless. Unreal we have this 'problem' when you look back only a couple years to the squad in L1....often struggling to want one if them in a position on rather than trying to juggle minutes for 2 (more in squad) outstanding talents.... building ever since KLD came in to be one of the most exciting times ive followed the lads!!

looks like le bris wants the roberts type, poveda has a very similar dribbling style

Based of last season's form Poveda is better than Roberts when he's fit. It's the "when he's fit" bit which seems to be the problem

He didn’t play much I don’t think did he? Only managed a single assist too. Picked up an injury then coincidentally Sheff Wed went on their best run all season when he was out

Clarke, Roberts, Mundle, Ba, Jewi, Watson is already a clogged pathway without adding Poveda, then you add in players like Rusyn, AA, Embo, Mayenda, Rigg, Kelly who have all played minutes in wide areas for us.

I think we have a squad of maybe 30 as it is (including Huggins and Seelt), we need to see some departures.

About time we bought a feeder club to send some on loan too

Really hope he’s given the nod by RLB and kicks on this season I think he can prove a lot of doubters of wrong and become an important player down the right so we aren’t so reliant on Clarke.

I wouldn’t rule out Roberts being sold with Ba and Poveda competing for the right side slot.

That brilliant poster with the info has probably fell foul of the club's tight knit ways. I was shocked to see them so open.

I'd heard about Poveda about a week ago now, I've not heard that he'd signed, just about our interest. He makes sense as strong competition with Roberts, especially with their respective goal records lol

I agree, it's obviously better than Donald but also better than Short imo.

We actually seem to have a plan, in fact lots of plans for different areas of the club.

As things are progressing we're coming to the stage whereby we're building in cover for any players who move on to better things.

We're signing good players, extending contracts of players we could easily sell and, I've no doubt, respected enough to have the big clubs loan us players.

Players clearly want to be here despite us having no money, useless coaches and a director of football who's universally despised <whistle>
