£5m wasn't it?

About 25m in pure profit selling Greaves and Philogene is nothing to be sniffed at but considering that's what was being rumoured Hull were asking for just one of them I think they've done poorly
Agreed, 2 very talented players

We knocked back a 20 million bid for jobe, nor sure on how much was upfront mind but still shows we will only sell if our price is met

You wonder if Palace (assuming it was Palace) will come back with a bigger bid now they have the Olise money burning a hole...

Unable to confirm if it was them or not

Be interesting to see what they do with the money now

Ipswich will be after a winger now as well, if i was both id be going after summerville.

Im a big fan of clarke but summerville is the better player imo so id be going for him if i was those teams

Mags are after summerville

Ive heard they need to sell players quickly due to financial concerns. They spent a lot on wages last season so need to bring income in quick so think thats why they are accepting smaller fees

They only got £20m for Lewis-Potter a few seasons ago didn’t they? Was that under last ownership?

and again, Hull been robbed there.

Yes they'll have money to play with but I can't help feel like they've undersold their two best players.

If we sold Ballard and Clarke for a combined £28m, I'd be disappointed and there's an argument that the Hull pair are at least on par, it not better than ours.

Bargain haha

I really like this signing by Ipswich. I think the lad is a proper number 9 and will bully defenders in the years to come.

I'm not going to judge fees too much as I struggle to know what the going rate is but Ipswich have had a brilliant transfer window so far - Delap, Greaves, Hutchinson and Ben Johnson. All young lads who you'd fancy to improve and make the step up. If they get relegated (I don't think they will) then they'll either get their money back on them or be heavy favourites for the title.

Wonder if mayenda will get a fair shot under le Bris since he speaks French. Also he’s quick and powerful too. Might fit the mobile CF description

I think all these young lads will get a good chance to show what they’ve got.

Some have been quick to write some off, at least a couple of them will step up reckon.
