Want us to go full pelt for Tom Cannon in the summer, whether it be permanent or loan. 4th choice at Leicester and hasn't started a league game since January, despite their forwards poor form.

On the bench tonight and I doubt he'll even get on.

They paid £7.5m and it was reported he failed his medical due to scans showing a very serious injury that cannot be repaired, they signed him anyway, not sure we would be the type of club to go ahead with that sort of thing.

Looking at our injury record we’re exactly the type of club to go after him :emoticon-0102-bigsm

He was up here last summer, so we definitely spoke with him, not sure if we pulled out or he didn't fancy us

Any thoughts on Alfie May at Charlton as a potential signing? He would fit the remit if we're looking to bring in a bit of experience with Dack and Evans likely leaving.

May is the leagues top scorer (League One) in a struggling Charlton team, has another year left on his contract and could probably be got for a somewhat modest fee considering the player will want the move and the club are going nowhere.

He's a bit of a Vardy in that he got he start in professional football late, was shunted out wide for a few seasons before looking very good as a 9 at Cheltenham and now Charlton.
He scored a belter against us for Cheltenham and played well. No t seen much of him but was impressed with what I saw. Saw him as a 10 more than a 9 though. Either way we need more goals in the side.

31 in July. I’d bet anything the club wouldn’t pay a fee for him and I’d want better tbh. Has he ever kicked a ball above L1 level?

Slight change in our approach, good to here, some experience and more robust players and we instantly go into the top ten for me

Dunno if I've read the article wrong but what stood out for me was that "the new head coach adding their thoughts to the mix when they are appointed at the end of the season." Yes I know we need a new head coach but for me it seems that as soon as the season ends, the new coach comes in - unless that's just wishful thinking!
