Here's a few more out of contract players we could look at:

Alex Mowatt, 29, WBA, Midfielder, approx £20k pw
Callum O'Hare, 25, Coventry, Midfielder, approx £10k pw
Jake Cooper, 29, Millwall, Centre Back, approx £11k pw
Nathaniel Chabolah, 29, WBA, Centre Back, approx £25k pw
Tyrese Campbell, 24, Stoke, Striker, approx £7k pw
Joe Williams, 27, Bristol City, Midfielder, approx £10k pw
Oli McBurnie, 27, Sheff Utd, Striker, approx £20k pw
Alan Browne, 29, Preston, Midfielder, approx £19k pw
Aaron Connolly, 24, Hull, Striker, approx £19k pw
Liam Cullen, 24, Swansea, Striker, approx £2k pw
Will Vaulks, 30, Sheff Wed, Utility Player, approx £8k pw
Paddy McNair, 28, Boro, Utility Player, approx £24k pw
George Saville, 30, Millwall, Midfielder, approx £16k pw
Jordan Thompson, 27, Stoke, Midfielder, approx £5k pw

McBurnie would be a decent choice, but he chose Shef U over us before.

Would like to see us take a look at Matt O Riley from Celtic but he could be out of our price range.

John Lundstram from Rangers would be an ambitious addition, he is out of contract in the summer and probably earns around £20k pw, he will probably look to get that again which is likely out of our reach.
Decent shout but I reckon he’d get a better move (a club going for promotion).

Well out of our reach now, in double figures for Celtic this season, playing Champions League football, linked with Atletico Madrid recently. No chance at all imo.

I reckon we’ll lose Clarke but the others will stay

Get shot of Dack and send Burstow back
Move on Matete, Benette and probs Hemir

High quality required for the following slots:
Main striker
CDM

+ additional striker/forward

I would add Embleton to that list too

Cooper from millwall for me. Huge no nonsense centre half, left footed and perfect partner to Ballard.

The irony is Gooch was pretty much let go so that we could bring Pembele in. And I have every expectation that Pembele never starts a game for us.

Gooch would have absolutely been worth keeping on around the squad this season, even if just to release him on a free this summer

Also would have been madness to keep Stewart around as an unqualified coach when he was crocked and we got such a great deal out of the sale.

Aye young players couldn't have learnt how to train from him if he is crocked and not training!

If we needed experience we needed to be buying better experience than those they let go. Only Stewart is huge miss but as he is injured he would be a miss still even if here!

Pritchard going has essentially free'd up space to play Rigg, so I can see the argument in that slightly, but cant help thinking Rigg would be better off learning from being around Pritchard, rather than being around somebody 2 years older than him
