No idea why they let any names into the public domain until everything has been agreed. When the signings dont materialise, it just leaves a load of fans unnecessarily disappointed.

I think it's pretty clear that the club do everything they can to avoid exactly that happening, and they've been criticised for it at times.

He’s not had a chance to work out

But who would we have dropped to allow Simons to play last season? Slater? There was also Woods and Docherty ahead of him for a midfield place. We were in a relegation battle for most of last season and like most managers Rosie turned to his more experienced players to try and get us out of that situation. Maybe he could have played for the last couple of games once we were safe - but that's hardly giving him a run in the side. As some others have said, hopefully he will develop into a player that can challenge for a regular start in the next year or two.

"We signed Henry Sandat, he's someone who is a development signing, but if he's good enough, he can come in the team. We are looking to develop the whole club, not just the first team."

This quote from Rosenior suggests that he thinks Sandat has a chance this season. Vaughan was a similar type of signing and he's looked alright.
Didn't he say similar about Simons?

Like texting it to the landlord of a pub? Or was the landlord lying and pretending he knew more than he did?

What has the landlord tweeting about KLP got to do with Kienan Davis falling through?

Davis was revealed by The Athletic I think it was. At the time, Baz was under orders to keep it quiet.

The people who defend Rosenior as much as they do on here would’ve turned on him already were it not for the fact he was a popular player for us. Derby’s interim manager for a few months who got binned off for Paul Warne never would’ve got the job in the first place at City if he had no prior connection to the club.

It’s the Solskjær Effect.

It's either the Solskjaer effect or it's the fact that we're doing quite well, have been consistently climbing the table while he's been here, and that him saying the exact same generic stuff every manager says isn't in any way a reason for a normal person to become so disdainful towards him.

Disdainful. Wow, new word for you to use to describe my views on Rosenior. Well done. You going through the Ds on the dictionary?

Normal being the operative word…<laugh>

We have ****ed Simons about let’s be honest.
Maybe, but surely he has to earn his place? And as we don't watch him day in, day out, then I'm not convinced any of us are well-placed for that one. Or is it because he came from the conveyor belt that is Chelsea and not Swindon Town, or the like?

No he wasn’t, Mourinho was the most successful in recent years. Solskjær hasn’t had a job in coaching or management since. I wonder why.

Solskjær got them 2nd in the PL, and had them playing free flowing, attacking football. He's far more highly regarded amongst United fans than Mourinho who despite winning the Europa League was otherwise awful for the development of players at United and didn't progress the club much at all. Solskjær was chased out because of the "PE Teacher" jibe that he didn't deserve the role, which is exactly what you're doing here with Rosenior. Which is why I found it funny you brought Solskjær up. :)

It would be like saying Phelan was a better manager for us than Marco Silva because Phelan got us to the League Cup Semi Final. Mourinho won a trophy but was absolute **** for United.
