Our window was amazing compared to Everton... sold a fair few and no one wanted to go there... That the exits of both players did not lead to additional incomings is understood to have been down to a desire on Everton’s part not to gamble on players they were unsure of. Yet those moves, along with the departure of Neal Maupay, also present a risk. Deadline day business has left Sean Dyche with a threadbare squad now thought to include just a dozen fit, senior outfield players for the trip to Sheffield United. Best price 9/5 to be relegated .. actually I like the look of relegation treble EVERTON, LUTON, BLADES... 5/1 with Skybet
Even the people who said we should’ve got rid of him are baffled that we haven’t signed a replacement. I think it’s more to do with not having a replacement than anything else.
Next transfer window opens 1st January 2024. When does the ITK thread open? I have a rumour I need to post.
I think Sandat might be better than we all realise. Overall, I’m actually happy. It’s a gamble for sure, but it means Delap and Connolly are guaranteed games and I rate both very highly - I don’t think Oscar would have been happy being a sub and this may have upset the camp. Philogene, I’m most excited about. He is exactly what we need on the right. This will hopefully stop Traore being played there and we can put him back in the middle. The negatives? It may be like a 4-5-1 most of the time, until we dare to bring Connolly on. I’m hoping our wingers will take on their man more often to make it more of a 4-3-3, but we’ll see. UTT.
Could be a good move for him Wasted his time playing in a non football team His career might take off now
Seri and Morton in a double pivot, Traore through the middle, Twine and Philogene on the wings, with Slater off the bench.
I suspect Morton will come on when Seri is knackered. I guess Traore will battle for the other 2 places with Slater/Tufan. Not a bad headache to have.
Slater will play in the inside left channel It’ll go back to one up top With Morton and seri in cm Delap up top Billy Jean and twine behind bomb squad to come on when we get desperate after 65 minutes of passing the ball about at the back and go hell for leather Tufan scores and we either get another one via Connolly or draw we’ll take the positives and have 67% possession so all the world can see what we’re doing here and our style
Non-football team? Pulis hasn't been manager there for quite some time. He's had a pretty decent go of it there.
Xavier Simons needed to go out on loan to get game time and experience to develop but Henry Sandat, who has never kicked a ball for the first team, can fill in for Óscar, apparently. **** my boots, I’ve ****ing heard it all now
