I think you’re confusing this with Bristle and Gristle. This was a game devised by myself where I was thrown moustache first into a massive pubic minge. If I stuck like Velcro then me and the lucky lady made sweet music behind the boozer in the fire escape. Cross Keys top of Endike was my home venue.

Sounds like fun:emoticon-0102-bigsm
Did you 'play away' very often??

I agree about the Vaughan stuff, but on your first paragraph, those four wingers on the whole just aren't good enough. We had them all last season and we clearly lacked wingers who could beat a man. Vaughan is a great option and I'm sure will be key again, Longman may play a part and there's probably more to come from Allahyar, but Sinik needs to be moved on and we need at least one, probably two new options to do what Ebiowei and De La Fuentes were supposed to do last season.

Im not sure what you can base ‘Sinik needs to be moved on’ on. He got injured as soon as he signed and we saw him play about 20 minutes in total. He’s obviously got some talent and there’s every chance he could come good for us over the season if he stays.

He made 12 appearances for us, the same number as Ebiowei. Was that too short to judge Ebiowei?

I think that's a good example. Ebiowei was castigated but actually showed more threat than Sinik ever did. Yes, Sinik didn't play much, but we sent him back on loan for a reason and I think it's very unlikely his City career will recover. I think he gets a lot more leeway than other players would get because he was supposed to be such a big signing, and people struggle to accept that someone we spent a big fee on from another country could actually just be a bit ****.

I may be wrong but in defence of Sinik he didn't have many starts if any, whereas Ebiowei did. Players rarely show their true potential when they just come on for 20 or 30 minutes as a sub.

I think he is worth a go, I seem to remember when he did come on, unlike Eboewei who couldn't be arsed, he did but in some effort and had some nice touches. Like with Tufan, who took half season to get to grips with the Championship way of playing, Sinik needs a run of games to see his full potential.

Sinik is fine to have in the squad, but it shouldn't alter the number of wingers we need to bring in. We still need 2 wingers, it's as clear as day, and you don't want to be relying on Sinik to turn it around, the same way LR has overcompensated up front.

With the club briefing that we don't need many, it's got people actually believing it. Our first XI is pretty good, but the depth isn't there.

I certainly wouldn't disagree with that, I was just trying to make the point that Sinik IMO needs to be given a fair chance before he is written off. Though I do like the look of Vinagre, very much similar to Christie on the right, will get forward and create some assists from the left.

Perhaps he hasn't started games because he hasn't shown enough to earn a start?
